Lexi was born and raised in Houston where she grew up with plenty of family to love. In high school she played the oboe, sang in the choir, and was active in youth ministry. She also held many leadership roles such as band president, section leader in both band and choir, and head of the Service and Leadership Team in her youth group. Some of Lexi’s favorite things are Legos, Astros baseball, football games, floating the river, (trying to) play the ukulele, and collecting shoes.
She is new to San Antonio as she joins us as a graduate from the University of Texas where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology. During her time at UT she was very active in campus ministry where she served on retreat teams, took on the role of staffhead for multiple staffs on the Longhorn Awakening retreat, and served on the core team of the Schoenstatt University Women. It was also during her time at UT she became deeply devoted in love to the Blessed Mother.
Lexi’s passion for youth ministry began when she accepted Christ’s invitation to a lifelong friendship during her own time in her high school youth group. She seeks to armor young people with the truth of Christ and His Church and bring them to an understanding of the Lord’s unrelenting love for them so they, too, will say “yes” to a friendship with Jesus.
