Marshall Smith is a native of San Antonio.  He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 and returned to San Antonio as a high school band director, retiring in 2013 from Roosevelt High School. Marshall and his wife Angie became parishioners at St. Pius in 1991 and both of their children attended St. Pius X School.  Since retiring from teaching Marshall now volunteers with the Texas Youth Hunting Program, the St. Pius X Cub Scouts, and Knights of Columbus.  He is a member of the Round Top German Band and the Helotes Concert Band but during the day you may see him here at St. Pius X working with the facilities crew to help improve our parish home.
