Nelly Licona is from Monterrey Mexico. Her parents and her only sister moved to San Antonio in 2001. 

She graduated from  Holmes High School, San Antonio College, and UTSA (bachelors in mechanical engineering). She practiced engineering for about 5 yrs to later transition into real estate.

Since 2004 she started having a stronger and deeper relationship with God that led her to volunteer for the past 16 yrs in the Catholic Church until finally, she decided it was time to serve the Lord through a ministerial job.

She worked for the Archdiocese of San Antonio for 2 years under the department of Pastoral Ministries as a Parish Life Liason, this is how she met Fr. Pat. She enjoyed working for the North East and Fredericksburg deaneries. 

She has been happily married for 10 years, Mauricio and Nelly have been truly blessed with Mariana (she will turn 2 years old in October 2021) after praying for this miracle for over 8 years. 

She truly enjoys prayer and worship. She has a passion for evangelization and is super excited to be part of this great community. She looks forward to continuing the work of making disciples and missionaries of Jesus Christ to prepare for the promise of eternal life with this community.
